Advanced Investigation Skills
Delivering an advanced level of knowledge for full time/ specialist investigators.
This 3-day course provides an advanced level of knowledge and skills practice, to increase the confidence of the investigator or those looking to make an assessment of more complex cases. It is suitable for delegates who already undertake workplace investigations, such as ER/HR teams and in-house investigators.
Our highly experienced trainers will support the development of the skills needed to conduct investigations into more complex issues such as harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment, fraud and/or health and safety accidents.
This advanced level package provides an additional emphasis on:
- Advanced Interviewing Skills such as cognitive interviewing
- Developing complex terms of reference, including where criminal activity could be part of the allegation set
- Accessing hard to reach evidence and analysis of such
- Legal and policy considerations
- Developing a coherent investigation report
