About Stephen Hague

Stephen is a highly skilled and respected resolution consultant who cut his teeth in conflict management and mediation during a 30 year career in the police service developing key negotiation skills and intricate dispute resolution practices. In 2012 he further enhanced that skillset through a workplace mediation qualification with TCM, alongside the workplace investigation skills he had developed as a senior manager.

Now with over 15 years of management experience he has developed a reputation for building effective, collaborative and high-performing teams. He is confident leading large teams across multiple sites and providing the training, development and mentoring opportunities necessary to enable staff to achieve demanding objectives. His professional experience in managing long term discipline, absence and attendance matters means he really understands the issues, pressures and stress caused by such situations on all parties.

Throughout his career Stephen has worked in partnership with a wide range of external organisations and takes pride in his ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders. Stephen is confident delivering presentations and leading interviews, as well as writing reports for diverse audiences.

Stephen’s experience in making decisions and judgements in high pressure and constantly changing environments enables him to understand and empathise with clients from fast paced and dynamic industries. His expertise encompasses project management, risk mitigation, investigation and negotiation and he is committed to delivering service excellence.

Stephen also has a passion for all things fitness and nutrition and when not working for TCM he can be found working with clients on lifestyle changes, running marathons, walking up  mountains or spending time with his wife, family and the dogs.
