This 3-day advanced workplace investigation course is designed for specialist investigators and those handling complex cases.
A must-do for HR/ER teams and in-house investigators, this course builds confidence and equips you with the advanced skills needed to investigate issues like harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment, fraud, and health and safety accidents.
Course Objectives:
- Master advanced interviewing skills, including cognitive interviewing techniques which can be used in sensitive and complex case work such as sexual harassment and discrimination
- Develop complex terms of reference, especially in cases involving criminal activity, or where there are multiple complainants and/or respondents
- Learn how to access and analyse hard-to-reach evidence, or where evidence may have been manipulated
- Understand critical legal and policy considerations, including Whistle Blowing legalisation
- Gain the ability to create a coherent investigation report which is thorough and robust
Led by highly experienced trainers, our course focuses on real-world skills for tackling complex workplace investigations and the programme uses a mix of theory and practical role play throughout.
Delegates will undertake a short assessment at the end of the programme to achieve TCM Investigator Accredited status. The content is tailorable to suit your organisation’s specific needs, ensuring relevance and practicality for your team.
